Driving Game from EA Sports
First installment in this long-running series of stock-car racing games featuring authentic NASCAR drivers, cars, teams and tracks. The game features 24 drivers and 17 tracks. Of these, 10 are recreations of real-life tracks and six are fantasy tracks. Nine are road tracks and eight are ovals. Game options include single race, championship and multi-player modes (for up to eight people n PC and 2 on console). You can customize many areas of the game, including the difficulty level and race length. Vehicle customization is an important ingredient for success. Adjustable areas include fuel load, tire pressure, spoiler angle (for down-force), wedge (effects vehicle handling), gear ratios, car weight distribution and shock percentages. The game's was impressive at the time of release but now looks dated.
