Driving Game from Microsoft Games, by Angel Studios, Inc.
Driving game and sequel to a popular original. The game recreates two cities: London and New York.
You are free to drive where you want although most game modes require you to pass through checkpoints in a fixed order. Game options include Cruise, Blitz, Checkpoint, Circuit and Crash Course modes. Cruise mode is free driving with no goals. Blitz mode is a straightforward time trial. In Checkpoint, you race against other drivers. Circuit mode sees you racing on a defined course. In Crash Course mode you play a stunt man in San Fran, or a taxi driver in London, through a series of challenges.
There is also multi-player mode for up to 8 people (via LAN or Net). There are nine new cars, including the Mini Cooper and a fire truck. Each vehicle has distinctive handling characteristics. The game's physics-modeling and damage models have been improved.
