Driving Game from Microsoft Games, by Angel Studios, Inc.
Driving game set in a simplified simulation of the streets of Chicago. The city is rendered in detail, complete with the city's landmarks and a population going about its business. Different weather conditions also feature.
Gameplay consists of driving recklessly around the city streets in races, picking up the police cars in pursuit. You damage other cars and fixtures and can scatter, or even mow down, pedestrians. Your own vehicle can sustain damage, reducing its performance.
There is a wide choice of vehicles, including a VW Beetle, pick-up truck, a variety of hot-rods, a city bus and racing car. A selection of views is available, including first and third person views and a widescreen view. A real-time map is included to help you find your way around and determine quickest routes.
There are four modes of play; cruise mode, Blitz race, Checkpoint race, and Cops and Robbers. Up to 8 players can participate in racing or chasing action (over LAN or online).
