Driving Game from Psygnosis, by Bizarre Creations
F1 racing game featuring all the authentic drivers, teams, cars and tracks of the 1998 season. There are 11 teams and 16 tracks in all. Game options include quick-start races, arcade mode, Grand Prix (sim mode) and multi-player mode. In arcade mode, cars have simplified physics and checkpoints must be reached within a time limit. In both sim and arcade modes you can opt for full season championship, practice or single races. When racing the full season in Grand Prix mode, practice and qualifications sessions are recreated.
Players can customize the game in many ways, particularly in the Grand Prix mode. Adjustable areas include race order, race length, weather conditions, car damage, steering and braking assistance and tire wear. Multiple difficulty settings add replayability value.
