Driving Game from Interplay, by Stainless Software Ltd.
Sequel to the highly-successful and controversial driving game. Again, the gameplay involves winning street races whilst wreaking destruction on your opponents and innocent bystanders. You must do well in the races to improve your rankings and earn cash to repair and upgrade your car. Bonuses are awarded for performing stunts or hitting pedestrians in various combinations. Time limits are in operation. Weapons and other powerups are available for collection. There is also a multi-player option (for up to 8 on a PC via LAN or online)
The graphics have been improved, and control system refined, since the first game. The environments are now rendered in greater detail than previously. Character animation and car damage are also well rendered. There is now more even gore. The bloody nature of the game and the profanity of the voice samples makes it unsuitable for younger gamers.
