Driving Game from Acclaim Entertainment, by Criterion Studios
Arcade-style road racing game. The game takes its inspiration from movie chase scenes and offers exciting, fast-paced action. Three vehicle classes are incorporated. Game options include single races, dual, championship and time attack modes. There is also a strong two-player mode. The game's physics model provides spectacular jumps, turns and crashes. There is a turbo boost, accessible when a meter is filled. Damage is realistically modeled and the AI is also realistic, other drivers will attempt to avoid you. The levels are set in nondescript US and European cities. The game's graphics are good and the controls are effective.
