Adventure game with puzzle component featuring the popular toy doll. The premise is that Barbie, Becky and Ken are summoned to a holiday resort to find hidden treasure but soon find that they are in competition with a shadowy adversary. The gameplay primarily involves exploring the environments, collecting clues and interacting with NPCs. The game consists of a series of static environment. Barbie is equipped with a magnifying glass which highlights clues and useful items. It is also possible to give chase on a variety of controllable vehicles including a speed boat, a beach bike and a hang glider. The game employs a simple point-and-click interface and bright and colorful graphics. Numerous voice samples and music are incorporated. It is possible to randomize the clues to add replayability value to the game.
