Arcade Game from Infogrames, by Infogrames Sheffield House
3D kart-style racing game based on the popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon. The game features a good selection of racers and cars including Penelope Pitstop, Sergeant Blast and Dick Dastardly and Muttley. The single-player game consists of working through championship races and challenges to unlock bonus tracks and cars. There is also a multi-player mode (for up to four players on the Dreamcast), for races and battles.
A notable feature of the game is the large number of tracks available. The game boasts good 3D graphics and design that reproduces the feel of the cartoon well. The handling of the vehicles is good and strong AI makes for challenging races. There is a choice of control systems available. The game boasts excellent audio, with many tunes, humorous voice samples and sound effects incorporated.
