Arcade Game from Namco
Third title in this highly-successful series of fighting games. This game first appeared in the arcades. Improvements have been made over Tekken 2in both graphics and gameplay.
The game offers multiple play modes; Time Attack, Team Battle, Practice, Survival, Force and Ball modes. You also have access to all the FMV segments via 'theater mode'. Ball mode is a beach ball competition and Force mode is a side-scrolling mode that pits your fighter against an onslaught of opponents.
As before, there is a good range of characters to choose from, each with their own characteristics and special moves. There are two characters unique to the PlayStation version.
The game's graphics are advanced. Very detailed 3D characters are combined with lavish 2D backgrounds. Character animation has been improved. Good FMV victory movies for each character are included.
