Arcade Game from Namco
Fighting game currently in development. It is the sequel to an acclaimed Dreamcast original. Set in a fantastic vision of the late 16th century the premise is that there is a magically powerful sword called Soul Edge that is being used for evil. A group of fighters are drawn together to compete in an epic tournament.
The game will feature most of the characters from the original game together with some new additions (including two female fighters named Cassandra and Tarimu). In all there will be eighteen fighters, several of which will have to be unlocked. Each character will have their own fighting style and special moves and the game's fighting system will have considerable depth. Among the game options will be single-player tournament and a two-player versus modes. The graphics promise to be very impressive.
