Adventure Game from Sir-Tech
RPG/adventure game and spin-off from a long-running series of traditional RPGs. You take the role of a wizard's apprentice and embark on a quest to rid the world of an evil force. Magic plays an important part in the game, alongside conventional technology. The game takes place in pre-rendered environments and you view the action from a first-person perspective. The gameplay consists of exploration, combat, interaction with NPCs and puzzle-solving. A wide variety of enemy types feature. The gameworld is well-designed and covers a good range of environment types, both indoors and outside. The interface and controls are easy-to-use. The character development system is good. The graphics and audio are effective, although the game is now a bit dated.
