Adventure Game from Namco
This adaptation of the successful arcade game of the same name requires a lightgun and can be used with a pedal. You play a character named Richard Miller who must defeat the evil Sherudo Garo and his henchmen.
It is a first-person railed shooting game. You choose from story and timed modes (you select a level and attempt to beat the clock). The gameplay is challenging and engaging. Accuracy is crucial. The pedal is used for dodging and reloading. This action can also be controlled by a button on the light gun.
The game offers multiple levels set on city streets and within buildings, including a hotel. Mission objectives vary although the action is similar - you must pick off enemies who are often partially hidden. Moving objects make this more challenging.
The game employs good 3D graphics and sound effects.
