Adventure Game from Black Label Games, by Computer Artworks
Third-person action adventure game currently in development. It will be based on the hit horror movie and will carry on the story covered there. Its development coincides with the 20th anniversary of the movie's release.
You'll take the role of Captain Blake and the actions will be set in the artic. Various weapons will be available including a flamethrower.
The game promises to combine advanced graphics and great design, for an atmospheric and scary experience. A major innovation will be the trust/fear mechanic. You'll have to earn the trust and manage the fear of two NPCs. Failing to do this will cause them to turn on your character, thinking that he is the Thing, or go mad with fear and become a threat. The characters will take blood tests during the game in an attempt to uncover the Thing. Many cinematic moments are planned and some gruesome monsters will feature.
