Adventure Game from Mindscape, by Toka
Arcade fighting game set in a fantasy-inspired universe.
Unlike many of other fighting games, you choose to play one of only three characters and rather than fighting a single opponent you face groups of fighters. They come in a wide variety of forms including lizard and pig-like monsters. The game features six levels of considerable size, each of which is split into ten sub-levels. There is a boss at the end of each level.
As well as using a sword there are four special weapons to be found. They are a throwing knife, an axe, a crossbow and grenade.
The game is mostly played in a third-person perspective but a first-person perspective (with cross-hair) is used when special weapons come into play.
The game boasts excellent graphics and character animation. There are appropriate sound effects to accompany play.
