Adventure Game from TDK Mediactive, Inc., by Digital Illusions Canada
Platform-style game based on the hit movie. Set in a fantasy universe inspired by fairy tales, the game incorporates many humorous touches and successfully recreates the look of the movie. The premise is that Shrek and friends embark on a mission to defeat an evil wizard named Merlin.
The game consists of eight worlds each with six challenges that unlock bonuses. Challenges include finding specific items, an archery mini-game and puzzles. Shrek has a range of moves at his disposal including jumps, kicks and punches as well as the ability to burp and fart! The game features the voices of the stars of the movie (Eddie Murphy, Mike Meyers and Cameron Diaz). There is no multi-player mode available.
