Adventure Game from Broderbund Software, Inc., by Red Orb Entertainment
2D side-scrolling action adventure game and eagerly-anticipated sequel. The player once again takes the role of the Prince on an adventure that sees him face many obstacles and enemies. The plot picks up after then end of the first game, once the Prince and Princess are married. The story revolves around the Prince's attempt to get back to the palace and break a spell cast by the evil Vizier Jaffar. The spell has enabled Jaffar to assume the Prince's appearance, whilst making the Prince himself unrecognizable.
The game consists of 15 levels. The narrative sections that develop the story intersperse the levels. As in the original, the gameplay involves exploration, combat and puzzle-solving. The Prince has a good selection of moves and his main weapon is his sword. The game's graphics are now somewhat dated.
