RPG with strategy and action elements set in the near future. You control a team of three commandos sent by the UN to investigate a village in the ex-Soviet Union that was the location of high-tech experiments during the Cold War. As a result of the experiments numerous types of mutant creatures were created. The game's story is largely developed through good cutscenes. During the game you pick up equipment and gain experience, improving the skills of your characters.
Both sides are equipped with high-powered weaponry. Among the weapons your team has are uzis, tranquilizer guns, petrol bombs and flame-throwers. The game employs a turn-based combat system. When you encounter enemies the game area is divided into squares and you must decide how to position your men and what weapons to use.
The game boasts good design and effective 3D graphics. A good range of sound effects and music are incorporated into the game.
