Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

Platform/puzzle game. It is the third release in the series, but is the sequel proper to Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Abe again stars. A member of the Mudokon race, he is accompanied by an amphibian named Munch (the last surviving member of his race, the Gabbits). Munch's mission is to save his species from extinction at the hands of the evil Glukkons, who like to eat Gabbit eggs, by saving the last tin of caviar! Abe's mission is to rescue his fellow Mudokons. Abe's can influence the minds of some creature types and Munch can control mechanical devices.

This installment marks the transition to fully 3D graphics. The gameworld is much larger, and the game's structure less linear, than previously. The 'Game Speak' system allows Abe to issue commands to other creatures, imperative for guiding Mudokons to safety. Many new commands are incorporated. The game's graphics and design are impressive.

The game was originally intended for release on PlayStation 2 and PC before development was switched to Xbox.
