Adventure Game from Red Orb Entertainment
Updated version of the classic puzzler. The graphics have been improved with better color and detail. The gameplay is essentially the same as in the original.
The premise is that a character named Atrus writes magical books that allow the reader to be transported to the location described. These have been interfered by his meddling sons and you must sort out the situation. As in the original you encounter the puzzles, mazes and other problems without much explanation. Puzzles are presented as single frames. The details of the story unravel as game progresses via animated sequences. These have been improved in this edition.
A major addition to the original Myst game is the on-line hint function now incorporated.
