Adventure Game from Nintendo, by Hudson Soft
Party game featuring over 70 new mini games. Up to four people or computer-controlled players can compete. You choose from a number of familiar Mario characters such as Mario, Yoshi and Donkey Kong including two new playable characters (Daisy and Waluigi). There is also a new game option, the 'Duel Mode'.
The gameplay consists of moving around the board collecting coins and stars and encountering various features including obstacles. Coins allow you to buy useful items. There are multiple paths across the boards.
The mini-games are varied and include races, speed and memory challenges. In the Dual Mode two players select a partners and they compete on a special, smaller board. When opponents meet on the board they fight each other directly.
The game employs effective design and cartoon-style graphics.
