Adventure Game from Sierra Studios
Part of this long-running series of classic adventure games. It incorporates significant improvements in graphics over its predecessors, together with simplified controls. Set in a fairy-tale inspired world, the gameplay involves exploration, interaction with NPCs, item collection and puzzle-solving. A simple point-and-click interface is combined with a single icon system for inventory items. You view the action from a third-person perspective. The game is aimed at both kids and adults.
You play the wife and daughter (Valanice and Rosella) of Graham, star of earlier games. The premise is that Rosella has not yet found a husband (hence Princeless Bride in the title). She then gets sucked through a portal and ends up in a strange realm engaged to a Troll King! Valanice follows her and the game follows their search for each other. They must also face an evil witch. The game employs detailed, cartoon-style, psuedo-3D graphics.
