Adventure game set in the 'Land of the Dead' - an underworld based on Mexican folklore. The land is divided into levels and it is every soul's desire to reach the ninth underworld. The gameplay involves exploration, interaction with NPCs and puzzle-solving.
You play Manny - one of several agents who are responsible for attracting soul 'clients' and arranging their transport to the ninth and last underworld. Depending on their behavior in life, they can traverse the underworld by car or super-fast train. Those less good must travel by foot. The story involves Manny's discovery of a trail of corruption after one of his good clients is forced to travel on foot.
The game uses a mixture of 3D characters and flat pre-rendered backgrounds to good effect. The backgrounds are sumptuous, blending many different styles with a film noir atmosphere.
