Adventure game. You play Gabriel Knight, who is a Shadow Hunter, an investigator who specializes in the supernatural. You'll also control his assistant, Grace through parts of the game.
The game has a strong plot, with many twists. Gabriel has been hired to investigate the murder of a young girl in Germany, apparently by a Werewolf-type creature. The game is split into six chapters. The gameplay involves exploration, interaction with NPCs and puzzle-solving. The game employs a point-and-click control system. The menu interface has been redesigned since the last game, making it easier to use. Cutscenes intersperse the game. The game's graphics and sound are effective.
