Horror survival game that follows on from the movie of the same name. It has a strong story written by top game author Hubert Chardot (Alone in the Dark). You can choose to play the game from a variety of views, including standard first- and third-person perspectives.
You play one of the characters from the movie, Seth Gecko. Set on a prison-ship, the Rising Sun, which is run by vampires, the aim is to clear a path, free other human prisoners and escape. The game consists of 21 well-designed and gory levels. The gameplay involves exploration, shooting, item collection and interaction with NPCs. The NPCs play an important role in the game, sometimes issuing sub-missions. Objectives include escort duty. Weapons include wooden stakes, tasers and holy water. The plot is developed through cutscenes and dialogue. The game boasts atmospheric design and effective graphics and controls.
