Adventure Game from Interplay, by Black Isle Studios
RPG that combines real-time movement with turn-based combat. The game is set eighty years after the original, on post-apocalyptic earth. You play the 'Chosen One' with the overall mission of finding a 'Garden of Eden Creation Kit (GECK)' to revive your threatened home village.
Despite the existence of an overall goal, the game is non-linear in structure. You can explore where you like, discovering various sub-quests along the way. You'll come across various communities and enemies during the game, from gangsters to genetic mutants. The time limits of the original game have been abolished and the world is much larger than in that game.
The game is played on an isometric landscape. The graphics are essentially the same as in the first game with some improved visual effects.
