Acclaimed real-time, online RPG with action elements. It is set in a medieval-inspired, magical fantasy world. A monthly subscription is payable.
You begin by creating your character. You can choose from a wide selection of character classes, each with their own special skills, strengths and weaknesses. (If you choose your own name, it must be submitted to the EverQuest server to avoid duplication or 'unsuitable' names being used.) Your character improves with experience. The gameplay involves exploration, combat, interaction with other characters and item collection/use. You'll be asked to perform quests as you progress. Both magic and conventional weapons feature.
The game boasts good 3D graphics and effects, plus good interface design and controls.
