Adventure game. You play the titular Chronomaster who must save a string of universes by finding a key, in the form of a word. The story also involves finding out who is responsible for putting the universes in jeopardy. Each universe has different laws of physics which effect the gameplay. The gameplay primarily involves exploration and puzzle-solving. As expected the game now looks somewhat dated.
