Adventure Game from Gathering Of Developers, by Terminal Reality
Action/adventure game and one of three titles in development based on the hit movie. It is set in the 1940s, and concerns the events surrounding the kidnap and murder of seven children at the hands of Rustin Parr, himself the victim of demonic haunting. You take the role of the agent of an organization called Spookhouse, named Elspeth 'Doc' Holliday as she investigates Parr's story. A significant proportion of the game is set in the woods.
You view the action from a third-person perspective and the gameplay involves exploration, clue collection, interaction with NPCs, combat and puzzle-solving. Numerous supernatural enemies will feature and Holliday is equipped with a gun. A notebook function keeps tracks of her progress. The game employs a modified Nocturne engine. The graphics are good but the camera system could be better. Dramatic cutscenes intersperse the action.
