Adventure Game from Take 2 Interactive
Adventure game based on the real-life murder of a young woman in LA in the 1940s. The case was particularly famous and grisly because the body had been cut in half. The plot also deals with a fictitious magical jewel also called the Black Dahlia and touches on German Nazism. You take the role of a young detective, named Jim, who is investigating Nazism in Cleveland. The game's strong plot unravels as you progress through a series of challenging puzzles. The puzzles vary in quality. The game employs a simple point-and-click interface. The graphics and cutscenes are good. Notably, Dennis Hopper appears as a minor character.
