Turn-based strategy game. Set on the in the future on the planet Chromos, the games story involves a conflict between two groups, the Kais and the Drulls. You take the role of a female Kai diplomat named Caro who begins a rebellion against the Drulls and their spokesman, Ben Haris, after he insults your people.
You choose from tutorial, single-player campaign or a multi-player game (for up to six players over LAN) The campaign consists of 20 scenarios. Three difficulty settings are available. The game is played through a series of maps and menu screens. Varied terrain and times of day feature.
The game features land, sea and air-based units and each type has distinctive characteristics and weaponry. There are also defensive units and structures. It is necessary to research new units, build factories and provide power/fuel and supply lines to units. Significantly, units gain experience and perform better as a result.
