Action adventure game based on the animated TV series, The New Adventures of Batman. The actors used in the TV show provide the main character voices. The game primarily employs a third-person view but a first-person view also features. The game consists of a series of nineteen mission-based levels. The story involves a woman who is attacked and the kidnapping of her son.
The gameplay involves exploration, combat and item collection. Mini-games also feature. Stealth and gadget use are important elements of the gameplay. Drivable vehicles, including the Batmobile and Batplane, are incorporated. Many of the well-known characters from the franchise feature including Mr. Freeze, The Joker and Poison Ivy. The game employs stylish design and the graphics and controls are effective.
