Highly-acclaimed and successful RPG. Set in fantasy universe the game is based on the AD&D pen-and-paper system. The action takes place in a realm called the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms. The game offers a large and challenging single-player game as well as a good multi-player option for on-line or Network play.
You begin the game by creating your character. There are sixteen character classes and numerous customization options. NPCs join your party as the game progresses. You then embark on a quest to uncover and defeat the dark force that is threatening your homeland. Gameplay involves exploration, real-time combat, item/spell collection, character development and interaction with NPCs. The game boasts high-quality graphics and sound. Maps of varying detail are included. The control system and interface is highly effective. The game features a strong multi-player mode for up to six players.
