Adventure Game from Fox Interactive, by Argonaut Games plc
First-person shoot 'em up based on the hit sci-fi/horror movie. It features characters from the movie and many of the weapons and sets have also been recreated. The plot is similar to that of the movie and good cutscenes help develop the story. The gory nature of the game means it is only suitable for older gamers.
The game is divided into a series of 13 well-designed and suspense-filled levels, each with its own set objectives. There are five playable characters in the game, including Ripley 8 and Call, each with their own special skills. You'll play each of them through different parts of the game. The gameplay consists of exploration, shooting action and some puzzle-solving. There is no multi-player mode.
The game boasts reasonable 3D graphics. Atmospheric sound effects and music accompany play. The controls could be better and the difficulty level is high.
