Action Game from Acclaim Entertainment, by Criterion Studios
This game combines high-speed racing and stunt action for hoverboard riders. It is set in the 23rd Century and the riders, boards and tracks have a futuristic appearance.
There are many play options including Match Races (where you race eight CPUs), Globe Collection Sessions and Globe Switching (races where you must collect globes or change them all to your color), Hoop Races (where you must pass through all the hoops) and Stunt Sessions (where you accumulate points for stunts). It is also possible to create your own tracks in Custom Race Mode or race against a friend in the multi-player mode.
There are 15 tracks and further stunt arenas, nine characters and a variety of boards in the game. The characters are divided into three types: Racer, Stunter and Bully. Your choice affects your game strategy. The game also boasts an excellent physics engine that makes for satisfying racing and spectacular stunting.
