Military-themed first-person shooter with strategy component. This is the follow-up to the Rainbow Six games. Like those games, it is realistic, meaning that men cannot take much damage before dying.
Ghost Recon is the name of six-man, special operations groups that work in pairs. You choose the team members from a selection available and then equip them before guiding through a series of missions that combine stealth and action. Whilst you can set a plan before each mission, you can also adjust it in the field. The single-player campaign consists of fifteen well-designed missions. There is also a strong multi-player mode for up to 32 players (over LAN or online). The game boasts impressive 3D graphics and AI combined with an effective interface.
