Action Game from Microsoft Games, by Gray Matter
Futuristic action game due for release in Summer 2000. The game's premise is that your ship has landed on a penal colony. These colonies are funded by broadcasted shows of the convicts fighting it out in armed vehicles. You must participate in such battles in order to get off the colony asteroid. You customize your vehicles and numerous different combinations of equipment are possible. Numerous types of high-powered weapons, including nukes and biological weapons, are available. Battles take place in various large arenas set in varied environments and incorporating buildings and other features. As well as the single-player game, there will be an extensive selection of multi-player options and ten distinct environments. Play will be accompanied by TV style announcements provided by comic, Joe Flaherty. The game promises advanced graphics and audio.
