Arcade-conversion and part of this highly-successful series of beat 'em up games. The premise is that the world's top fighters have been brought together to participate in a competition. This game is known as Street Fighter Zero in Japan. The game offers a choice of practice, arcade and two-player versus modes. There are twelve playable characters, including two from Capcom's other game Final Fight. Each character has their own fighting style and special moves. Among the new moves featured in this installment is the 'Alpha Counter-attack', which enables players to turn attacks back on opponents. New 'super moves' have also been added. These are accessed by landing a series of hits on your opponent. The game features good 2D graphics.
