Part of this successful series of beat 'em ups and follow-up to Street Fighter 3: Double Impact. The premise is that the world's top fighters have been brought together to participate in a competition. The game features new characters, moves and backdrops with a refined interface and many new customization options. The most notable among the characters featured is Chun Li, who was absent in Double Impact. As in that game, the Special Arts system is incorporated. Each character has a three special moves, one of which the player must select one before a match. A significant addition is the 'system-direction' mode that allows you to modify many aspects of the fighting system. You can fight against the computer or a friend in the versus mode. There are also two mini-game; a baseball style game to help improve blocking skills and another where you get to attack a selection of cars! The game employs high-quality 2D graphics with well-animated fighters and lavishly detailed backgrounds.
