Action Game from Microsoft Games, by Digital Anvil
Space combat sim. The game's plot is based on a scramble for control by the powers of America, Britain, Russia and China for the domination the planets of our solar system and beyond.
You play a member of a squadron fighting on the side of the Western powers. The strong plot unfolds through thirty minutes of FMV and many thousands of speech samples.
The game attempts too create a living, realistic universe with many incidental craft flying around. There are over 80 different types of ship included, twelve of which are flyable. The large capital ship can be fully explored. The way in which you conduct a mission effects the subsequent mission structure.
The game boasts advanced graphics, including some spectacular visual effects.
Apart from the main single-player game there are multi-player options, for deathmatches and cooperative games.
