First-person, squad-based military sim. This is a modified conversion of the PC game, Spec Ops 2: Green Berets, developed especially for Dreamcast. It boasts improvements in graphics and AI over the original game. It also has a modified interface and control system to suit the platform.
The game consists of a series of 25 challenging missions set in locations around the world. They are the same missions that featured in Green Berets, with additional cutscenes, although you cannot choose the order of the missions as you can in the PC game.
Missions are preceded by detailed briefing and planning phases. You then select and equip your soldiers and define a plan of attack. Each soldier has their own skills profile. There is an extensive arsenal of weapons available.
