Action Game from Activision, Inc., by Z-Axis Ltd.
Update of the classic game. The game offers gameplay that is essentially the same as in the original games together with graphical improvements. You control a ship at the bottom of the screen that must shoot and destroy the ranks of descending enemies that move from side to side, whilst avoiding their fire.
The action is set on various planets, beginning with Pluto. There are many alien enemies included in the game. They have different patterns of behavior and weapons. For instance, they will now dodge your fire. Another innovation is that you have a variety of powered-up weapons that are earned when you kill a certain number of enemies without taking a hit. There is a range of challenging bosses to be overcome.
The game's graphics and sound are effective, retaining the familiarity of the original games.
