Action Game from THQ Inc., by GameFX
Revamp of the arcade classic Sinistar. Set in space, you control a ship charged with defeating enemy Sinistars. You must gain crystals that power your ship and weapons, by destroying the asteroids littering space. The asteroids also contain various powerups.
Enemy ships also destroy asteroids, but they deposit their crystals onto a gate in the center of each level. You can destroy the enemy ships and the piles of crystals accumulated on the gate. However, when there are enough crystals in the gate a Sinistar emerges, which you must destroy. Different attack strategies are required to defeat each Sinistar, and the only weapon that is effective against them are 'SiniBombs', which require crystals to work.
There are six zones each of which has four levels to work through. The game boasts stylish 3D graphics and impressive visual effects. There is a choice of first or third person view views.
