3D shoot 'em up that employs a modified version of the Quake 2 engine. You play an ex-cop, Colonel Blade who is assisted by a hacker named J.C. The game consists of a series of challenging well-designed missions, with varied objectives, tied together with a strong story. The gameplay includes exploration, stealth and shooting actin with some puzzle-solving and interaction with a good cast of NPCs. A good selection of high-powered weapons are available. The game employs real-life settings to good effect and these include a subway system and office block. Environments are rendered in lavish detail and incorporate many interactive elements such as useable computers, ATMs and workable machinery. There is a good degree of customizability available allowing you to define your character and preferred control system. A good range of voice samples, sound effects and tunes accompany play.
