Action Game from Acclaim Entertainment, by Acclaim Studios Teesside
Horror-themed, third-person action/adventure game. The game is set in New Orleans and voodoo magic plays a big part in the game's premise. You play Mike LeRoi, an assassin. In the human world he has limited physical and weapons capabilities. However, he is able to cross into the world of the dead ('Deadside'), where he becomes the Shadow Man and has a range of spectacular powers and weapons.
There are more that 20 levels set in the two worlds. Most of the action takes place in Deadside, where you must collect the souls of the dead. In the world of the living you must track down five infamous serial killers, including Jack the Ripper, in order to stop them from destroying the world.
The game boasts good graphics and the Deadside environments are very stylish. Ghoulish sound effects and a spooky musical soundtrack accompany play. The game features a dark setting and bad language.
