3D squad-based, action/strategy game. You control a group of mercenaries selected on the basis of their skills profiles.
There is a campaign of nine missions set in locations scattered around the world. Mission objectives vary, but generally missions involve penetrating enemy bases and completing a set of specific military tasks.
Upon the completion of each mission you receive a cash payment that can be spent on hiring men and buying equipment. A large selection of weapons is incorporated. A variety of drivable vehicles, including tanks and boats, feature. There is a detailed mission-planning phase. There is also a strong multi-player option.
The 3D graphics are good. The AI is generally adequate and a range of atmospheric sound effects accompanies play.
