Action Game from Capcom
Horror-themed action adventure game. You play a member of STARS (special tactics and rescue squad) who finds him/herself in the middle of Raccoon city when it has been overrun with zombies. The zombies are being created by a virus released by the evil Umbrella corporation. There are two characters to choose from, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, each with a slightly different paths through the game and starting equipment. A significant part of the game takes place in an old deserted mansion.
You play the game from a third-person perspective and the camera system is effective. The gameplay involves exploration, shooting and some puzzle-solving. A variety of weapons is includes from knives to rocket launchers. Characters have a limited inventory. The game sustains tension well and atmospheric sound effects and music are incorporated. The plot is developed through cutscenes. The in-game 3D graphics are good.
