3D first-person shooter. The game combines good graphics with a strong story. Set in the future, you play Parker, one of a group of miners on Mars rebelling against their employers. The game consists of a series of missions that primarily involve exploration and shooting. A variety of controllable vehicles are incorporated. There is also a two-player mode.
The game employs an innovative system that makes environments more realistic, so that you can inflict real damage. You can blast through walls, ceilings and floors and even destroy entire buildings with the appropriate weaponry. A range of high-tech weapons is available, including those with infra-red sights that allow you to 'see' through walls. Another innovation is the 'advanced particle system' that makes liquids, such as lava, flow realistically.
