This title refers to two separate games. An original game with this name was released in Japan only. The follow-up game was called Pokemon Stadium 2 in Japan. However, this second game was also released in the rest of the world where it was given the simple title of 'Pokemon Stadium'. It is this game, which is in fact essentially an expanded version of the first game, that is treated here.
This is a fighting game with RPG component featuring the Pokemon characters. Whilst the game can be played as a stand-alone title, it is designed for use with the Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow games on Gameboy and a Transfer Pak. It is possible to link up transfer paks via the N64 and trade Pokemon. The game boasts good single and multi-player modes, lots of depth and effective 3D graphics.
