This game is effectively an augmented compilation of the first three Mortal Kombat games. It features all the fighters and backgrounds of those games with more added. In all there are almost 40 playable characters. There is a range of options including the full competition for the single player and a multi-player mode. In competition mode battles are tied together by a story developed through cutscenes. An extensive range of characters is incorporated into the game. The controls are easy to master. Due to its violent nature and the significant amount of gore, the game is not suitable for young children.
