Action Game from Electronic Arts, by DreamWorks Interactive
First-person action game featuring good graphics and AI. You take control of a special operations officer in a series of covert missions set during WW2. The missions are varied and challenging. Before each mission there is a good briefing section and additional objectives are sometimes added mid-mission. Objectives include infiltration and sabotage. Carefully executed tactics are necessary for success.
The game's control system is effective. Numerous actions are available, including the abilities to crawl and peak around corners.
There is an extensive range of weapons available. The sniper rifle is particularly good. It is also possible to hijack enemy weapons, such as machine guns. Ammo and health power-ups are scattered around the levels.
Enemy AI is impressive. The graphics are good, characters and backgrounds are well designed and rendered. Good FMV cut-scenes are incorporated. Atmospheric audio accompanies play.
